Introducing Yellowbelly Pizza
At Yellowbelly Pizza, we're all about great pizza, good company, and a little Lincolnshire pride.
Nestled in the heart of Brigg, our mission is simple: serve exceptional Italian-style sourdough pizzas made with quality ingredients, and a distinctly local twist. Every pizza that leaves our oven is handcrafted, slow-fermented, and made to be shared around the table with family and friends.
Our restaurant doors opened for the first time in June 2019, however the story of Yellowbelly Pizza began long before then. Many years ago George and Sara Kendall turned their love of authentic sourdough pizza into reality, serving slices from a lovingly converted horse box at events across the region. After building a loyal following one pizza at a time, they opened the doors to Yellowbelly Pizza in June 2019, creating a permanent home for the pizzas that local people had come to know and love.
In April 2025, the next chapter began when Yellowbelly Pizza was taken over by local family Jayne, Mark and Ethan Howell. As lifelong food lovers and proud members of the local community, they were determined to preserve everything that made Yellowbelly special while continuing to help it grow. And if you've visited us before, you'll probably recognise Ethan. Having worked alongside George since the very beginning, he's been stretching dough, firing pizzas and perfecting recipes since 2019.
Today, he's still behind the counter creating the same great pizzas that have made Yellowbelly a local favourite.While ownership may have changed, the heart of Yellowbelly Pizza remains exactly the same: fantastic sourdough pizza, warm hospitality, and a place where everyone feels welcome. So, whether you're joining us for your first or your fiftieth visit, pull up a chair, grab a slice, and become part of the story.

Parking
Brigg Market Place is surrounded by plenty of car parks. We recommend the Old Courts Road Car Park or The Angel Car Park for convenience. Both currently offer free parking after 6pm, plus 2 hours of free parking Monday to Friday before 6pm, and free parking all day on weekends!
